St. Charles REALTORS oppose Amendments 4 and 5!

The St. Charles REALTORS oppose Amendments 4 and 5 on Missouri's August 4 ballot. Why? Because for generations, REALTORS® across St. Charles County have worked to protect the homes, property rights, and financial futures of Missouri families. And these two amendments would erode the safeguards we have spent decades helping to build.

Amendment 4 changes the century-old rule that Missourians can amend our own Constitution by a simple majority. It moves the goalposts on citizen voting — making it harder for the people to speak up when the Capitol won't.

Amendment 5 opens the door to expanded taxes on services Missouri families use every day— taxes that hit homeownership, hit household budgets, and hit the American Dream we help our neighbors achieve. We are not here to tell you what to believe. We are here to tell you what we see at the closing table with your friends, your family, and your neighbors.

On August 4, St. Charles REALTORS is voting NO on Amendment 4 and NO on Amendment 5.
