Last week at the NAR Legislative Meetings in Washington, D.C., Terri Gander and Missy Palitzsch were inducted into the Major Investor Hall of Fame at the $25,000 level.
The Women’s Council of REALTORS® Midyear Conference also took place in Washington, D.C., where Becky Klein was elected to serve on the 2026 National Women’s Council of REALTORS® Executive Committee.

During the 2025 National Association of REALTORS® Legislative Meetings, St. Charles REALTORS® met with members of Congress in Washington, D.C., to advocate for policies that will increase the housing supply and improve access to homeownership.
June is National Homeownership Month, when we raise awareness about the benefits of owning a home and the importance of making homeownership more attainable for all Americans.
New language will give state and local associations greater clarity in how to fairly and consistently enforce NAR’s Standard of Practice 10-5 prohibiting discrimination and harassment.
Although a range of factors are working against aspiring homeowners today, with continued pent-up demand, more inventory coming online and rate cuts expected in the fall, NAR Chief Economist Dr. Lawrence Yun expects an upturn in the second half of 2025. He shared his economic forecast during the REALTORS® Legislative Meetings this week.
