During the 2025 National Association of REALTORS® Legislative Meetings, St. Charles REALTORS® met with members of Congress in Washington, D.C., to advocate for policies that will increase the housing supply and improve access to homeownership.
New language will give state and local associations greater clarity in how to fairly and consistently enforce NAR’s Standard of Practice 10-5 prohibiting discrimination and harassment.
Although a range of factors are working against aspiring homeowners today, with continued pent-up demand, more inventory coming online and rate cuts expected in the fall, NAR Chief Economist Dr. Lawrence Yun expects an upturn in the second half of 2025.
