Missouri Governor Issues Stay At Home Order
Yesterday, Friday, April 3rd, Missouri Govenor Mike Parson issued a “Stay At Home” order for the entire State of Missouri which goes into effect at 12:01 am, Monday April 6, 2020 and runs until 11:59 pm April 24, 2020. The order says that Missouri Residents “shall avoid” leaving their homes or places of residence. It goes on to say that when Missourians leave their homes, they can only do so in adherence with social gatherings and social distancing requirements.
The order does not specifically list “essential activities and businesses” but refers to essential businesses guidelines published by The U.S Department of Homeland Security, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security (CISA). Those guidelines list “Residential and Commercial Real Estate Services, including settlement services as essential.
