Last night the weather was amazing for our inaugural St. Charles REALTORS Movie Night, brought to you by the Inclusive Advisory Council through a NAR Diversity Grant. The main feature was The Banker with Samuel L. Jackson and Anthony Mackie. A movie about two entrepreneurs who devise a masterful business plan to fight for housing integration and parallel access to the American Dream.
Fair Housing Forward
A Fair Housing Month Event featuring NAR’s 2025 Fair Housing Champions
April 10 | 12 p.m. CST | Broadcast Live on NAR’s Facebook
Fair Housing isn’t just a policy—it’s a promise. This month, we recommit to advocating for accountability, culture change & expanding homeownership opportunities for all. #FairHousingMonth
NAR believes in a free and open marketplace, where buyers, sellers and REALTORS® can engage in housing transactions without artificial barriers or constraints. This April and every April, REALTORS® recognize Fair Housing Month to commemorate the passage of the Fair Housing Act of 1968. This landmark legislation is important today for the same reason it was fifty-seven years ago—it honors the principle that in the United States of America, no one should be denied housing because of who they are. Fair Housing Month is a time to renew our commitment to expanding homeownership opportunities and fostering inclusive communities. Thank you for joining us in advancing fair housing.
Jamy Phillips (SCR Community Outreach Chairman) and Sarah Bell (SCR President) proudly presents a $5,000 SCR Housing Foundation Check to Amy Armour from Sts. Joachim and Ann Care Service.
