A group of top economists arrived at a consensus 2020 economic and real estate forecast at the National Association of Realtors®’ first-ever Real Estate Forecast Summit. Americans are feeling upbeat about the housing market. More than half of Americans—or 63%—say now is a good time to buy a home, and 74% of sellers say now is a good time to sell, according to the fourth-quarter findings from the Homeownership Opportunities and Market Experience survey, conducted by the National Association of REALTORS®.

Police are investigating the shooting death of a female real estate professional in Minneapolis who was abducted from a house she was showing on New Year’s Eve. Monique Baugh, 28, who was a sales associate with Kris Lindahl Real Estate was found Tuesday night in an alley with multiple gunshot wounds. Baugh was transported to a hospital, where she later died.
