Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness – A Message from our President, Matthew Becker
When most people are asked, “What’s your favorite holiday?”, the
responses typically revolve around those where gifts or bounties of
food are involved. However, my response to this question has
always been Independence Day. Celebrating the 4th of July will
always be my favorite holiday; and it’s not just because of the
BBQ, parades and fireworks, but because that is the day we get to
celebrate and recognize our freedoms that we enjoy as Americans
and honor those who protect our freedoms. On July 4, 1776, our
Founding Fathers set forth a foundation that all men are created
equal and that every American has unalienable Rights of Life,
Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.
