It's hard to believe but November 5, the day of the General Election, is just 44 days away!  Missouri absentee voting with an excuse opens on September 24. Now is the time to make your plan to vote.

If you are a registered voter, skip to the next paragraph.  If not, are you registered to vote? Check your current registration via the Missouri Secretary of State. State law says you must be 17 ½ years of age to register and 18 years of age to vote, a United States citizen, and a resident of Missouri. You may submit your application online.  The deadline to register is October 9.

Absentee voting starts on September 24 with a specific reason laid out in state law including illness, disability and if you will be away from your home voting jurisdiction on Election Day. No-Excuse-Needed Missouri absentee voting starts October 22, and continues for two weeks until the day before Election Day.

If you want to ask your local election authority to send you a ballot by mail, the deadline to submit your request is  October 23. Check online to find your local election authority: Local Election Authority

On Election Day (November 5), polls open at 6 am and close at 7 pm.  As an American citizen and REALTOR, your voice is important so get out and VOTE!
